Old Baseball Caps
Updated: May 15, 2019
The old baseball cap was a fashion trend a few years ago, wasn't it? Keep up with the times, Leslie!

For me, this one means a little more than one from Old Navy. It's my late grandpa's cap and I'm not putting it away anytime soon.
We'd visit my grandparents almost every weekend when I lived in Arizona. Grandpa had a wall neatly strewn with a rainbow of baseball caps. Anytime we ventured out to the great Arizona outdoors in his purple '95 Chevy truck, I had a big decision to make. Out of all the caps on his wall, which cap got to be MY cap for the day?
It always seems to be these little moments that end up making the best memories. Anytime I wear this cap, I take a quick trip back to riding shotgun and talking to Grandpa nonstop the whole trip.
That's one of the reasons I love being a photographer - I get to be your professional memory preserver! There's obvious big occasions that you wouldn't go without a photographer, but how about the other, smaller moments? I'll hear married couples say more times than not, "Wow, we haven't had photos taken since our wedding!"
Don't forget about the small memories, like an old Diamondbacks baseball cap. Sometimes they might just end up being your favorite!
